Come to this 3 day seminar outside of Asheville, NC!
Train Systema, enjoy the Russian Health Practices
and hang out with your larger Systema community!
Stepping to Heal
Use walking and movement to gain deeper insights and understanding on how to correct posture, move more efficiently, breath easier, resolve old injuries, support a calm state of mind and add longevity to your martial arts career and physical health
Striking to Heal
Use striking to become aware of the level of tension in yourself and your opponent. Then we’ll take it a step further to use it as a tool to relax the tension in yourself and your partner.
Russian Health Practices
Featuring: Pravilo, “bodyweight “massage, ladoshka, volchatka and SAUNA!!!
We are so excite to be offering the Wood Fired Sauna for the first time during this seminar! This is a project Bill and fellow Systema Practitioner, Daniel Linton have been diligently working on!
Seminar Led by Bill Parravano, Certified Systema Instructor
I began my 15-year Judo journey in 1990 at the University of Toledo, competing nationally and internationally for several years. A severe knee injury in 1998 shifted my focus toward the healing arts, leading me to Systema in 1999. I immersed myself in training, traveling frequently to Toronto, and earned my Certification as an Instructor in 2004. Over the years, I ran Systema schools in Louisville, KY, Charleston, SC, and Asheville, NC.
Through my recovery, I found that Systema helped me reconnect with and feel “normal” in my body again. Alongside my study of an osteopathically-based bodywork approach (also beginning in 1999), I developed a deeper understanding of how to use these two practices together to support physical healing.
