Restoring Mobility - An Ongoing Functional Movement Class

Introducing an ongoing weekly class called
Restoring Mobility!

What do we address in this ongoing weekly class?

Getting up from sitting or laying down, going up/down stairs, reaching/ lifting your arms, stiff necks, back pain, balance issues and any aches, pains and stiff areas and more!
Are you recovering from an injury or surgery? We’ve got you covered!
We will be using functional movements paired with breath work. These techniques leverage natural movement patterns, similar to those we had as infants and small children but may have lost over time due to aging, injuries, or lifestyle factors.

Benefits to Participants

* Experience improved flexibility, ease of movement, and reduced stiffness.
* Learn functional movement techniques to enhance daily activities and reduce strain.
* Develop better breathing habits to lower stress, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep quality.
* Understand proper body mechanics to minimize injury risks.
* Reduce the long-term effects of accidents, injuries, surgeries, and physical trauma.
* Naturally alleviate pain through movement and breath work.

About the Instructor

After experiencing a severe knee injury in the late 1990s,  Bill Parravano began studying Ortho-Bionomy, an osteopathically based bodywork method focused on comfort and pain relief. Around the same time, he began practicing Systema, a Russian martial art with origins in Eastern Orthodox Christianity, which emphasizes breathing, movement, and relaxation to enhance health.

With extensive experience in body mechanics, movement, and natural healing, Bill is dedicated to teaching individuals how to cultivate comfort and alleviate pain effectively. His approach empowers participants to take control of their mobility and well-being in a supportive and accessible way.
